    • Cozy Cottage has had a total makeover. In addition completely remodeling the main house, the homeowner has added a guest cabin. The photos really speak for themselves. The natural pine throughout the home gives a feeling of warmth, while retaining a light and airy attitude. The living room and dining area have wonderful views of Lake Pelican.

    The kitchen is a dream. All new dark cherry cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances will make cooking the catch of the day a pleasure. The chef in your group will be delighted to take full advantage of this lovely kitchen.

    The master bedroom was enlarged and the newly added windows bring in more natural light. This bedroom has a king sized bed. The second bedroom has three built in single beds. One of these is in the charming sleeping loft. The three-quarter bathroom features a granite countertop, tiled shower and beautiful wood floors.

    The guest cabin has been finished with the same pine as the main house. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. This cabin also has three-quarter bathroom.

    Just walk out the door to discover yourself on a level lot within a few feet of the water’s edge on one of Minnesota’s premier fishing lakes. The shore line has been rocked, but the sandy lake bottom makes for great swimming off the dock. This home is equipped with air conditioning for those days when lake breezes are not quite enough. On the other hand, you might enjoy a fire in the wood burning fireplace on chilly days.

    Nature lovers will love the little environmental lake just a few feet away. Put in your canoe and paddle around this natural beauty.

    Cozy Cottage is located a few miles from the charming and sometimes bustling town of Nisswa. Shop for summer clothes, souvenirs of your visit, have a bite to eat or rent a bicycle and explore the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail.

    I’ll take my first cup of coffee with me to the end of the dock where I’ll dangle my toes and wonder if the fish will nibble!
