The combination of a wooded lot and groomed lawn give a both protected and well-cared for environment. The brick exterior creates a stately appearance and walking through the front entrance lives up to that expectation. The entryway gives way to the bright formal living room and dining area, with cathedral ceilings, floor to ceiling windows on the lake side and a cozy two-sided fireplace. To the left of the entrance is a room that has been designed for overflow guests. It can be used as office space or a bedroom. The Murphy bed pulls down easily into a queen sized bed. The beautiful wood paneled library is just down the hall from the guest bedroom and shares the warmth of the double sided fireplace.

On the other side of the formal living room is a cheerful kitchen with an eating area and lovely lake view. The sun porch just off the kitchen would be a relaxing place for that first cup of coffee. This porch leads onto the deck where you can sit and watch over the children playing on the great swing set.

The laundry room, a bath and a half bath are also on the main floor.

Then walk up the winding staircase to the upper level bedrooms. The master bedroom suite has a king sized bed and a beautiful master bathroom with a whirlpool tub. At the other end of the open hallway are two more bedrooms. One has a full bed and the other has a single over double futon bed. A full bathroom is also on this end of the house.

A great entertainment/game room is on the lower level. You can play foosball, ping-ping or pool. A comfy sofa with room enough for just about everyone is situated in front of the fireplace and the televison. A bathroom and another guest bedroom with a full bed are also on the lower level.

Electronics in this home deserve special mention. The master bedroom suite, kitchen and family room all have television sets with VCR’s and basic cable service. DVD players are also connected to the televisions in the master suite and the family room. An in-house stereo system features speakers in the great room, the library, the main floor guest room and the family room. It is hooked up to a CD player as well as a tuner. As an added bonus, this home has an internet connection as we ll.

Just 12 steps will get you down to the edge of Gull Lake and the dock. A little clearing about 10 feet by 20 feet is filled with sand, perfect for playing and sitting in the shade of the summer’s sun. The lakeshore is sandy at the end of the dock and has a very gradual incline from the end of the dock and continuing out several hundred feet making it great for wading or swimming. Rocks have been brought in to reinforce the shoreline. The dock area includes a boat lift. We will get the exact specifications when the dock goes in this spring.
