Ralph's Retreat

For those of you who would like all the charm of Coronary Seclusion, but do not need that many bedrooms, Ralph’s Retreat - just down the road - might be perfect for you. At Ralph’s Retreat you have a wonderful combination of a smaller, cozy home while still being on the large lake. The Whitefish Chain of Lakes will keep you busy with any water sport that interests you, from fishing to water skiing. The heavily wooded lot and lake breezes will keep you cool in summer.

There is a steep elevation to the lake with steps built into the hill. By the end of the week you will be going up and down these without even breathing hard. If that is not the case, then there is a lift that will take you and your gear down to the lake. THE LIFT IS TO BE OPERATED BY ADULTS ONLY.

This single floor home keeps things simple. Knotty pine siding and the country décor create a bit of a fairy tale feeling. The living room, kitchen and dining area are all part of the open floor plan. The kitchen is small, yet brightly lit with a window over the sink and a skylight. Have your guests join you at the breakfast bar or have a family dinner at the long table. Or, have lunch on the deck with fresh air and great views.

There are two bedrooms, charmingly furnished. One bedroom has a queen size bed; the other has two twin beds. Bring your family of four or come with a fun-loving group of four good friends.

There is a very spacious boat house at water’s edge. Although there is no a bathroom, it does have lots of space for games.

I’m going to take my first cup of coffee on the deck and watch the chickadees building nests in the pines.
