This place says summer fun at the lake. And the key is a comfortable home with a great location. Island Lake lies at the northeast end of the Whitefish Chain and is joined to Lower Whitefish. This provides you with the perfect choice of fishing and cruising around the chain or staying within a smaller, quieter lake. What a lovely dilemma.

Tiffany's Retreat is open, airy and cheerful. The vaulted ceiling and open floor plan of the main floor living area brings the outdoors in. Great views are provided by the wall of windows and sliding glass doors to the deck. Within this area you will find comfy seating for long conversations with friends over a glass of wine or for reading the book you've saved for this vacation. Rainy days will be brightened by the warmth of the fireplace or the distraction of television. A smaller sitting area also invites the reader to cuddle up with a book - if you can keep your eyes away from the view. The kitchen has all the amenities you need and is in a convenient arrangement. There is a breakfast bar where guests can keep the cook company while he is frying up the catch of the day. Meals can be served at the generous dining table.

This home accommodates up to seven sleepy heads with their own beds. One main floor bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, while the second has two twin beds. The loft area has two additional bedrooms, one with another set of twin beds and one with a single bed. Please note that the loft bedrooms are open to one another near the vaulted ceiling. Both floors have bathrooms.

Outside enjoy the level lawn with plenty of room for a rousing game of tag. Or how about a wiener roast followed by s'mores at the fire pit. The dock is about a dozen steps down to the shoreline. More wonderful choices for reading, games, a quick afternoon nap or dining can be made from the nice features of this home. Will you read on the deck or in the wooden swing? Will you dine inside or within the screened porch? Will you nap on deck or share secrets in the loft? Every dilemma can be easily solved by staying long enough to enough all the spaces!

My choice for my first cup of coffee is equally difficult. Shall I enjoy the screened porch or sit on the swing and listen for the birds? What will you do?
