Trout Lake Retreat

CabinFinders is pleased to introduce you to this spectacular vacation home and to add it to our rental inventory. Trout Lake Retreat is on an elevated heavily wooded lot. Cool breezes and shade are provided by the towering pines. The lake bottom is excellent sand. For your convenience there is an electric lift to carry you and your picnic basket to the shoreline and the 40 foot dock. If size permits you may dock your boat on the lift provided.

This beautifully designed home has great attention to detail. The photos will help you imagine being there.

Entering the large foyer from the formal covered entrance you will find yourself in the living area looking at the great view through a full wall of glass. The open floor plan is great for entertaining. The living room has soaring ceilings with tongue and groove pine; the floors are rustic hickory. On a cool summer evening you might enjoy snuggling up on the plush leather sofa in front of a fire in the massive wood burning, stone fireplace.

The custom kitchen is a chef's dream come true. The beautiful cherry cabinets, double wall oven, gas cook top and large custom size refrigerator/freezer makes entertaining enjoyable. The center island and breakfast bar invites guests to join in while the chef of the day is creating a gourmet meal. Enjoy your meals in the spacious dining room with panoramic views of the lake or out in the fresh air on the deck.

The main floor master suite has a great view with a private balcony. Sleep well with beautiful dreams in the queen sized log bed. A double-sided gas fireplace is also open to the master bathroom, with its extra deep soak tub, beautiful slate shower, and double sink vanity.

A convenient front-loading washer and dryer are located in the main floor laundry room. There is also a main floor powder room.

While walking up the stairs to the spacious loft area be sure to notice the wonderful ironwork details. This area has not been completely furnished, although there are two day beds with pull out trundle beds. This sleeping loft is open and not private. There is a ¾ bathroom on this floor.

The lower level has a comfortable family/game room and an L-shaped wet bar. The inviting wrap-around sofa is great for viewing a movie or enjoying lively conversation. The two bedrooms on this level have also have great views of Trout Lake. One room has a queen sized bed, the other has a twin over full bunk bed. Another laundry room makes living easy.

All this and a guest house too! The cozy guest house has a full kitchen with full-sized cook top stove and refrigerator. Enjoy a good book while snuggled up on the futon sofa. The ¾ bath has a front load washer and dryer and is located on the main floor.

Upstairs is the private bedroom with a queen sized bed. The outer room of the bedroom has two built in twin beds. Note that you pass through this sleeping area to get to the bedroom.

I'm going to take my first cup of coffee out on the deck, do a little bird watching and listen to the breeze rustling the leaves.
